French club Le Havre officially announced the signing of Algerian international defender Ahmed Tuba on a loan deal until the end of the season, coming from Greek club Panathinaikos. This move follows attempts that lasted around 10 years, the first of which was when the club tried to sign him during his time with Belgian club Club Brugge. Tuba, 28 years old, has extensive experience playing in European leagues, having played in Belgium, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Italy. He is capable of playing both as a central defender and as a left-back, currently wearing the number 5. It is also worth noting that Tuba was born in France and previously played for Belgian youth national teams before choosing to represent the Algerian senior national team.
