Saudi fans top morning camel race

The Crown Prince Festival for Shetineh in its eighth edition at the Taif Field featured successful morning competitions, with 21,637 participating camels. Of these, 17 Saudi camel owners secured the top positions across 17 out of 21 heats, with Saudi owners dominating the results. Qataris won three heats, and Emiratis took one. For the first time, there are also races for camel Mazaen in multiple colors. It is considered the largest festival worldwide in terms of participants, setting a Guinness World Record in 2026 with 21,637 camels, representing a 93.5% increase over its first edition. Over seven years, more than 100,000 camels have competed in the festival.
