Moroccan Legend's Son Chooses France
The son of the Moroccan legend, Mehdi Benatia, Qays Al-Mutqi, has decided to represent the France under-15 national team instead of Morocco, after joining the French youth national team for international competitions. This choice comes in light of the availability of multiple nationality options among young talents, allowing players to change their national representation before reaching the level of playing with the senior national team. Although this decision does not exclude the possibility of him representing Morocco in the future, his appearance with France marks an exciting beginning to his international career, especially considering that his father was one of the most prominent defenders of the Moroccan national team.
