Xavi warns of new FIFA schedule risks

Xavi Hernandez, the coach of the Dutch national team, criticized the new international match calendar that organizes four games within 11 days during the international break. He stated that it poses significant risks to players' health and leads to injuries, especially after the World Cup ended three months ago. He suggested that FIFA should reduce the number of matches to just two during breaks, considering that the intense schedule doubles the risks of injuries and fatigue, and calls for more prudent management by sports authorities.
