Chelsea in race for England star
Chelsea is leading the race to sign England midfielder Alex Scott, who is currently playing for Bournemouth, following his outstanding performance with the national team. Scott is 23 years old and joined Bournemouth in 2023 from Bristol City. His popularity among major clubs increased especially after his debut with England in the UEFA Nations League match. It is worth mentioning that Chelsea is seeking to strengthen their midfield in January, having already tabled an offer of over 80 million pounds to acquire him, despite his current contract with Bournemouth running until June 2028. Scott's recent performance and England coach's description of him as a "complete player" are among the key indicators of his potential and excellence.
