Kuwait's Night Witnesses Keno and Isa
The article discusses the historic meeting between the Saudi national team and its Emirati counterpart on December 25, 2017, during the group stage of Gulf Cup 23 in Kuwait. At that time, Mohamed Kanno and Khaled Eisa were the only players who participated in that match and remained for more than nine years. As the final of Gulf Cup 27 approaches, it becomes evident that most of the players have changed, with 20 members of the 2017 squad having left, while Kanno and Eisa remain witnesses to the new encounter, which will be between two completely different teams in terms of lineup and performance. Saudi Arabia reached the final after beating Qatar in a penalty shootout, and the UAE after defeating Oman. This reflects significant changes in the character of both teams over the past years.
