Chouamini names three contenders for Ballon d'Or
Orelien Tchuameni, a player for Real Madrid and the French national team, has nominated three players to win the 2026 Ballon d'Or, emphasizing that the award should go to France. His selections include Kylian Mbappé, who had an exceptional season and became the all-time top scorer in the World Cup with 22 goals; Ousmane Dembélé, who led Paris Saint-Germain to win the Champions League title and scored in the final; and Michael Olise, who broke Pelé's record for assists in the World Cup. It is worth noting that the award ceremony will take place on October 26 in London, marking the first time the event is hosted by the British capital.
