The English Football Association has fined Southampton coach Tonda Iektar £28,000 ($37,000) and suspended him for six weeks with a stay of execution after admitting to monitoring training sessions of three rival clubs last season. The team was excluded from the Championship playoff final and had four points deducted for the 2026-2027 season due to this violation. Currently, Southampton is in 13th place in League Two with 10 points after eight matches.
