Torrès Earns First PSG Award
Ferran Torres, the Spanish player newly transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for more than 40 million euros, started strongly with the club, scoring 7 goals in 6 matches across various competitions. In September, he won the Player of the Month award from the French Professional Players' Association after netting two goals in three French Ligue 1 matches, including one in the classic, as well as a hat-trick in the Champions League against Slovan Bratislava. Despite a strong start, Paris Saint-Germain currently occupies sixth place in the French league, five points behind the summit-leader Monaco.
