Walid ranks seventh in league standings
Walid Abdullah, the goalkeeper of Al-Diriyah team, has become the seventh oldest player to participate in the history of the Saudi Professional League after his appearance against Al-Nassr in the eighth round. This was his first time playing with the team after missing previous matches due to the absence of the primary goalkeeper, Nikola Vasic. His participation is a historical milestone, making him one of the oldest players to compete in the league, as he is 40 years, 5 months, and 21 days old. This comes after a long career with various Saudi clubs, having previously played for Al-Nassr and continuing to participate in matches even at this age. Al-Diriyah lost the match 0-3 to Al-Nassr, with Walid conceding three goals during the game.
