Paris Saint-Germain delays my promise

Paris Saint-Germain refused to sign the young French midfielder Ayoub Boudai, despite their previous interest in him, especially ahead of a potential match against his former team, Manchester City, in the Champions League. The main reason is that the club's management decided not to strengthen the midfield position this season, relying instead on existing players such as João Nunes, Vitor Ferreira, and Fabián Ruiz. They preferred to invest in young talents like Warren Zaire-Emery and Sini Maiyla. Additionally, coach Luis Enrique employed a variety of tactical options, especially in the central midfield role, making a signing of Boudai unnecessary from technical and strategic perspectives. As a result, the opportunity to sign him was dismissed, and the player was directed towards Manchester City in a deal that could be worth up to 100 million euros.
