Mariska Comments on Fan Suffering
Enzo Maresca, Manchester City's coach, spoke about the suffering of the club's fans during the financial allegations crisis faced by the team. He confirmed that the supporters may have suffered more than the players and coaching staff as a result of the fallout, especially after City's 3-0 victory over Liverpool, which was met with chants criticizing him and warning of potential penalties. He explained that the club denied any violations and is pursuing an appeal against the sanctions, despite ongoing mockery and tensions in the atmosphere. Maresca also expressed his sympathy for City fans, noting that Arsenal or United supporters might have accused him of cheating if they were in his place. He commented that the team's celebrations after the win are normal, despite the criticism he has received.
