Manchester City’s 114-accusation appeal date

An independent report from the English Football Association revealed that Manchester City's appeal against its conviction for over 100 financial rule breaches from 2009 to 2018 is expected to be considered by mid to late January. The independent panel previously found the club guilty of using forged contracts to inflate revenue and reduce costs by over £900 million (€1.2 billion). If proved, the club could face severe sanctions, including point deductions or stripping of titles. The head of the authority confirmed that the procedures take approximately 12 weeks, and the outcome of the case will be determined through independent processes, with no political interference so far.
