The article focused on Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique's response to criticism directed at the French league, particularly regarding comparisons between his team and its English counterparts. It highlighted Enrique's statements in which he emphasized that efforts to manage matches in a way that allows players to rest in the French league—as opposed to European competitions—often face complaints and accusations of reducing the level of competition. Enrique also firmly responded to Manchester City coach Enzo Maresca, who criticized the quality of the French league and pointed out Manchester City’s failure to beat PSG 4-2 in the Champions League, explaining that his team strives to win every match and that such criticisms are unjustified. The article also mentioned a humorous comment from Dembele about rest periods, to which Enrique replied that breaks are part of team management, and that the team is focused on securing a victory in the upcoming match against Strasbourg after a series of domestic wins, in their quest to earn points and climb the league standings.
