Al-Diriyah and cooperation advance
Al-Dridah's team opens their first match in the Saudi Pro League against Al Taawoun at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, as part of Week 9. The two teams have not previously faced each other in the league, but they met twice in the King’s Cup, with Al Taawoun winning on both occasions. Notably, forward Abdul-Razak Hamdallah returns to the starting lineup after missing the match against Al Rayan in the AFC Champions League due to a three-match suspension, which Al Taawoun won 2-1. Al-Dridah is currently in ninth place with 11 points, stemming from three wins, two draws, and five losses, while Al Taawoun sits in 17th place with three points from three draws and five losses.
