Hamdallah trails Al Soma by two goals
Moroccan Abdel Razzak Hamdallah, the forward of Al-Tawoun, made an important step that brings him closer to matching Omar Suma's record as the all-time top scorer in the Saudi Professional League. He has reduced the gap to two goals, having scored his 159th goal in the competition, while Suma has 161. Hamdallah's goal came in the match between Al-Tawoun and Deraia, during the ninth round of the Saudi Pro League, via a header from a cross by his teammate Mohamed Koko B in the 65th minute. This is his third goal of the current season. It is worth noting that Hamdallah is playing in the Pro League for the ninth season, and this is his first with Al-Tawoun. He previously represented Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, and Al-Shabab, scoring 77 goals with Al-Nassr, 52 with Al-Ittihad and 27 with Al-Shabab, bringing him closer to Suma’s record, which he could break after leaving Al-Wehda at the end of last season.
