Al-Fayha coach criticizes referee unfairness

Al-Fayha coach Fabio Carilli criticized the refereeing after his team’s 2-3 loss to Al-Ahli in the Saudi Roshn League, objecting to the decision to extend injury time instead of the first-half stoppage, which led to a goal by Al-Ahli at the end of the match. He stated that the referee added a minute that his team was not informed of, affecting the flow of the game. He also admitted that his team was capable of achieving a better result despite missed opportunities. The last goal by Al-Ahli was also controversial, as it was scored after the official stoppage time had ended, but refereeing experts confirmed its validity, explaining that the referee can extend time even after the official minutes have been played.
