Al-Nassr potential sale to US firm

Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund is working to settle the debts of Al-Nassr Club, totaling approximately $213 million, with the aim of selling a majority stake of up to 70% in the club where Cristiano Ronaldo plays. Negotiations indicate that U.S.-based RedBird Capital, the owner of Italian club AC Milan, is in talks with the Saudi fund to purchase the stake for around $267 million, with Ronaldo securing a 20% share. The negotiations are still in the early stages, amid efforts to arrange commercial sponsorships and improve the club's financial situation before finalizing the deal. This move is part of Saudi Arabia's strategy to attract private investments and expand the presence of its clubs in the international sports market.
