Carragher critiques Fernandes on Karrick's role
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher criticized Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes after he questioned the tactics of the team's manager, Michael Carrick, during the 4-1 loss to Coma in the Champions League. Carragher described Fernandes' behavior as shameful, considering that his performance and conduct on the pitch are unbecoming of a captain of a club the size of Manchester United. He explained that Fernandes, who won the Player of the Year award last season under Carrick, is currently displaying unprofessional conduct, such as raising his arms in the faces of his teammates, which threatens team stability and is indicative of problems within the club—particularly significant administrative corruption, according to Carragher. He also believed that such behavior could jeopardize the future of the club’s coaches and emphasized that Fernandes' attitude reflects a lack of discipline and loyalty, which could have negative repercussions for the club’s stability and future results.
