Spanish clubs agree on ticket cap

The article explains that La Liga, the Spanish football league, has agreed to a cap on the prices of away match tickets, with a maximum of $34 per ticket. Currently, 17 out of the 20 clubs have joined this agreement, which also guarantees at least 300 tickets for visiting fans. This comes despite a boycott by AC Milan supporters due to the high ticket prices, reaching up to $73. The purpose of this agreement is to limit the rising costs of away tickets, which increased by an average of 33% per match during the 2023-2024 season. It also includes price limits for tickets in other competitions, such as the English Premier League, the German Bundesliga, and the Champions League, in accordance with UEFA regulations. The names of the three clubs that recently joined have not been disclosed.
