Daisyson has revealed its latest innovation: a water toothbrush equipped with a camera capable of capturing images with a resolution of up to 100,000 pixels, enabling live streaming to social media platforms. The development process took approximately six years and involved over 600 engineers. The device is priced at $500. The toothbrush features an array of sensors that assess roughly 28 images per second to precisely identify areas that need cleaning, utilizing a technology called the Visual Gaps Targeting System. This system was trained on more than 470,000 images of teeth. Additionally, Daisyson is collaborating with the Dental School at the University of Singapore to test the device accurately without the need for clinical trials. It includes a sensor that measures usage frequency and indicates when the brush head needs replacing. The toothbrush can also emit ultrasonic vibrations for enhanced cleaning. The company claims that this toothbrush removes 69% more plaque than a regular electric toothbrush. The built-in camera connects to a phone via the Daisyson app, with no images or videos stored. Soon, specially designed toothpaste and sterilization methods will be launched in the market.
