U.S. President Donald Trump has requested that the media and government organizations use the term "superintelligence" instead of "artificial intelligence," claiming that the White House considers users of the latter term to be "enemies." He explained that the new term more accurately reflects the technology, which he views as astonishing rather than deceptive, and that it should be approached with caution. He has issued an executive order mandating the use of this term within American government institutions. Meanwhile, the term "superintelligence" carries technical connotations referring to systems that surpass human capabilities—a theoretical concept that currently does not exist—amid rising security concerns related to artificial intelligence and the expansion of data centers.
