AI's impact on job interview methods

The article discusses how AI tools, such as "Shakra" from HackerRank, are redefining the hiring interview process by focusing on candidates' thought processes and problem-solving steps rather than solely on the final results. The tool enables the assessment of critical thinking skills, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, while emphasizing the effective use of artificial intelligence. Experiments have shown that this tool has been used in over 500,000 interviews, with an average rating of more than 4.8 out of 5. Although performance depends on the accuracy of the evaluation and its correlation with actual job performance after hiring, it also reduces the risks of cheating and bias compared to traditional methods. This approach aims to shorten the evaluation process by conducting a single interview that covers multiple stages, while ensuring that the results are monitored and reviewed independently.
