WhatsApp tests smart navigation bar on Android

WhatsApp is working on developing a new design for the bottom navigation bar on Android phones, where its size automatically adjusts while browsing to enhance chat display space and make navigation between sections easier. The new design features a floating bar that shrinks when scrolling down and returns to its normal size when scrolling up, with section icons remaining visible even in the compact bar mode. This improves the user experience and delivers a simpler, more practical interface. This feature is still under testing in the beta version and is expected to be rolled out to users in future updates, aiming to optimize screen usage and facilitate interaction within the app.
