Al-Mahrès Visual Arts Festival Celebrates Success

The Mokharis International Festival of Fine Arts successfully concluded its 37th edition. It attracted a wide audience and featured the participation of more than 35 artists from Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Iraq. Around 60 children and young people also took part. The festival included an exhibition of artworks, a mural by artist Abdel Hafiz Talili, as well as art workshops, and cultural and literary seminars. Despite its success, the festival faces a challenge in securing financial support from the National Museum of Contemporary Art, as the allocated grant has not been transferred despite completing all required procedures, threatening the continuation of this important cultural event.
