Final deadline for Sharjah Arabic Novel 2026

The Sharjah Book Authority has announced August 31, 2026, as the deadline to participate in the Best Arabic Novel of 2026 Award. The award requires that the book be written in Classical Arabic and submitted within two years of its first publication. Collections of short stories or essays are not eligible. Authors must submit three copies of the book along with relevant certificates, provided the copies arrive before the deadline. The prize is valued at 150,000 AED, divided between the author and the publishing house. The results will be announced during the Sharjah International Book Fair, held from November 4 to 15.
