Sonad affirms safe drinking water

Al-Sonad Company affirms that the drinking water supplied to different regions of the country is safe and fit for consumption. It is subject to strict and continuous monitoring to ensure compliance with national and international standards. Water specialist, Oyaida Al-Buzairi, pointed out that the presence of a scent or the appearance of "Javal" substance in the water indicates that it is disinfected and free from bacteria, and therefore does not require boiling before drinking. Water quality officer, Faisal Al-Naimi, also noted that in 2025, Al-Sonad collected more than 58,000 samples, with only 1.6% of these samples failing to meet specifications—well below the maximum permissible limit of 5%.
