Ministry Allocates Over 672M Dinars for Education

The Ministry of Education has allocated over 672 million Dinars to upgrade and modernize the infrastructure of educational institutions in preparation for the 2026-2027 school year, representing an increase of 40 million Dinars compared to the previous year. This includes the establishment of 23 new institutions, among them two for the "Second Chance" program and a new teaching space costing more than 150 million Dinars. Additionally, more than 1,200 maintenance interventions were carried out at a cost of 400 million Dinars. An amount of 68 million Dinars was also dedicated to building and repairing fences to enhance school security, along with the purchase of approximately 100,000 desks at a cost exceeding 33 million Dinars. Furthermore, media equipment and machinery were provided to the institutions. Emphasis is also placed on strengthening school protection by installing surveillance cameras in 2,000 schools to ensure the safety of students and the educational staff.
