President Kais Saied issued a presidential pardon covering a number of students and pupils imprisoned for drug use-related cases, on the occasion of the back-to-school and university season. The aim of the pardon is to give these young people a fresh opportunity to catch up and resume their educational path, without being involved in drug trafficking crimes, in order to support them and give them a second chance.
