Kairouan conducts cataract health trip

A health campaign was launched in Kairouan to screen for cataracts in the eye, focusing on early detection and improved prevention. It involved 30 medical personnel and included examinations of numerous patients from various parts of the city. Suspected cases were referred for surgical procedures in the ophthalmology department. Since its launch in late August, the campaign has benefited over 700 citizens, aiming to reduce the impact of the disease on vision and to provide early treatment.
