Agricultural projects approved by August

Between the beginning of the year and the end of August 2026, a total of 1,643 agricultural investment projects were approved, with a value of 267.9 million Tunisian dinars, according to the Agency for the Development of Agricultural Investments. Additionally, 2,453 projects were approved by the regional delegations, with a total value of 23.9 million dinars, bringing the total volume of agricultural investments to 291.8 million dinars and creating 1,569 permanent jobs. The agricultural sector ranked first in terms of investment volume, amounting to 159.6 million dinars, followed by the services related to agriculture and fisheries sector with 53.8 million dinars. These projects benefited from grants totaling 69.6 million dinars, were financed by loans of 87.9 million dinars, and had a self-financing contribution of 110.3 million dinars. Since the beginning of the year until August 2026, a total of 4,120 investment projects were declared, amounting to 807.5 million dinars.
