Ministry reports aid for 387,685 families at school start

In preparation for the 2026-2027 school year, 387,685 families received a poverty relief grant of 280 dinars. Additionally, monthly financial assistance was provided to children, amounting to 30 dinars per child, with educational aid set at 10 dinars for students and 20 dinars for students with special needs, benefiting approximately 230,000 children. Furthermore, financial aid in the form of school transportation subscriptions was allocated to nearly 36,000 students last year, with the number expected to reach 60,000 this year thanks to the inclusion of vocational training. The ministry also distributed about 96,000 school bags to the poorest families in collaboration with the Tunisian Union for Social Solidarity.
