Belgrade Theatre Festival: Escapees' Play Wins Award

The Tunisian play "The Escapers" was awarded the "Yuvan Cherilov" Prize at the 59th Belgrade International Theatre Festival. The judging panel praised the performance for demonstrating that theater remains alive despite politics, through imagination, costumes, and exceptional music. Additionally, director Wafa Ettaboubi received the award for Best Direction for the same play.
