Tunisie Telegraph: Marwa Sokheri cites harassment and threats within Football Association

Maroua El-Sakhiri, a member of the Football Association Office and a lawyer, issued serious allegations regarding the management of the Tunisian sports sector. She pointed out the presence of harassment, threats, and intimidation, as well as interference in technical decisions, mishandling of governance and resource management, manipulation of deals, and advertising contracts. She shared these accusations through a series of tweets in September 2026, expressing her concern over the deteriorating situation. She emphasized that officials are responding to legitimate demands with mockery and irresponsibility. She also reaffirmed her desire to resign since July of the same year, raising questions about the impact of these allegations and whether they might be pursued as official cases, noting that no clarification has been provided by the relevant authorities so far.
