Tunisian Institutions' Sustainability Initiative

Today, a national project titled "Smart and Sustainable Infrastructure" was launched in Tunisia with the aim of supporting institutions and economic actors in transitioning toward sustainability. The project will run for seven months until April 2027 and includes mentoring 500 young entrepreneurs with business ideas, involving 100 experts and researchers, engaging with 50 organizations, and conducting field visits and workshops. It focuses on identifying local challenges across various sectors such as textiles and automotive manufacturing, and involves establishing an innovation laboratory to analyze problems and develop solutions through collaborative efforts among institutions, startups, and researchers. The project also includes preparing scientific studies and issuing a guide to best practices in corporate social responsibility and sustainability. It is expected to conclude with a forum in April 2027 to showcase results and facilitate experience exchange.
