Judiciary suspends Democratic Constitutional Party meeting

The Emergency Chamber of the Tunis Court has ordered the suspension of the Democratic Constitutional Rally Party's conference scheduled for October 3-4, 2026. This decision was made based on a lawsuit filed by party board member Samira Saihi, who requested the suspension of the conference activities, including the election of a new leadership and discussions of internal organizational matters. This ruling comes just hours before the conference was set to begin and reflects internal disagreements over the party's organizational path, opening the door to future developments regarding its fate in the upcoming period.
