Umaima Al-Badawi Represents Tunisia in Baku Judo

Tunisian wrestler Oumaima Bedioui is participating in the World Judo Championship to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from October 4 to 10. Tunisia's participation is limited to Bedioui in the under 48 kg weight category after injuries sidelined three other athletes. Bedioui prepared well through training camps in Tunisia and Germany. Her participation follows her recent success in winning a silver medal at the Mediterranean Games. Her chances of success in the tournament depend on her physical and mental readiness, with her first match expected on next Sunday, as 627 athletes from 93 countries are set to compete.
