Tourism Minister Opens Traditional Industries Fair
The Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Sfyuan Taqiya, inaugurated the third edition of the Traditional Industries Fair "ARTICREA" at the Exhibition Palace in Kram, with the participation of 228 craft enterprises from all regions of Tunisia. Of these, 60% are managed by women and 40% are led by graduates of higher education. The event will run until October 11, with the aim of supporting competitiveness in the sector and enhancing opportunities for marketing and exporting traditional products. This is achieved through showcasing the diverse exhibits, including ceramics, pottery, jewelry, textiles, leather, wood, and more, with a focus on innovation and design. Reports confirmed that the exports of traditional industries reached approximately 58 million dinars by the end of August 2026, with the participation for the first time of foreign guests to promote the presence of Tunisian products in the international market.
