Two major projects are being built in the Gargour area of Jendouba Governorate, with a total cost of 346 million Tunisian dinars, aimed at supporting development and improving services for residents. The first project is the construction of the Rghay Dam, which began in April 2026 at a cost of 251 million dinars. Its objectives are to provide potable water, establish irrigation zones, and protect the area from floods. The second project is the establishment of a regional hospital classified as "B" along National Road No. 6, with an approximate cost of 95 million dinars and a capacity of 105 beds. Since November 2025, over 20% of its work has been completed. During the field visit, emphasis was placed on speeding up construction to ensure both projects are completed on time, serving approximately 80,000 residents in the area.
