Health Committee reviews nursery law
On October 6th, the parliamentary Health Committee held a session to study a draft law regulating the establishment of nurseries and kindergartens. The focus was on improving the quality of institutions for children, standardizing programs and requirements across the relevant ministry, and strictly regulating the sector due to the widespread presence of unlicensed facilities and their dangers to child upbringing. It was proposed to increase the age for admitting children from two months to three months, in line with maternity leave laws. The meeting also discussed the rising costs of nursery services and the need to regulate them, with the final approval of the law postponed for further review.
