Zaghwan: Farmers worry over fodder shortage

A awareness day was organized in Zaghouan focused on compound feeds, attended by farmers and specialists, with the aim of promoting the use of scientific methods in livestock feeding and reducing costs and losses. Participants emphasized that rising feed prices are putting pressure on farmers, while the shortage of subsidized feed raises concerns about the preservation of livestock wealth, calling on the government to increase support. They also stressed the need to develop the national herd and improve production efficiency to reduce the shortage of red meat amid rising production costs and drought conditions.
