Esperance prepares for Libya trip

Al Ahly Tunis Sporting Club is committed to thorough preparations for its upcoming matches. Spanish coach Pablo Franco is focusing on assessing the players’ readiness through a practical test against Olympique Baged before heading to Libya to face Suwaihli in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League. Franco is expected to rely on goalkeeper Beshir Ben Said in the starting lineup, with Othman Mami on the bench. He plans to maintain a defensive formation that includes Mohamed Draoui and Nidal El Lafi, along with Raid Chakchouki and Hamza Jallassi playing in the central defense. Additionally, Cameroonian player Namory Kaïta has resumed full team training, enhancing the coach’s tactical options, all aimed at ensuring the team’s readiness and securing a positive result in the upcoming African match.
