Kasserine Agricultural Union Reports Hail Losses

A news report discusses the impact of bad weather conditions on the Kasserine governorate, where the affected areas, particularly the municipalities of Sbeiba, Sbeitla, Talla, and El Ayoun, experienced heavy rainfall accompanied by hail and strong winds on Saturday evening. These conditions caused varying degrees of agricultural damage, especially in the olive, fruit trees, and vegetable sectors, with more than 50% of the plantations damaged in some areas, posing a threat to both the quality of the harvest and overall production. The relevant authorities are monitoring the damages and communicating with farmers to develop urgent solutions to mitigate the impact, as storms and heavy rains continue to affect the region’s crops.
