Israel bans Tunisian airline staff

Reports indicate that Air France is facing a legal and ethical crisis after succumbing to Israeli security demands that prohibit Tunisian and Maghrebi pilots and flight attendants from working on flights to Tel Aviv or passing through Israeli airspace. This decision comes in response to the attempted hijacking of a Fly Dubai flight last September, prompting Israel to tighten scrutiny of foreign crew members' identities. As a result, the airline was forced to open the door for the voluntary withdrawal of the affected staff, amid rights protests and accusations of racial discrimination, with employees going on strike out of fear of diplomatic fallout.
