South-South Workshops in Abidjan showcase 14 projects

The article focused on the activities of the "South-South Workshops" Week in Abidjan, which was held from October 12 to 17, 2026, with the participation of 14 projects from Tunisia, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, and the Comoros. The program aims to support young talents in the cultural and creative industries through design workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and institutional meetings, with the goal of developing diverse digital projects such as video games, digital platforms, and audio-visual experiences. Projects were reviewed and guided through a gradual process starting with idea generation and ending with prototypes, emphasizing structuring, experimentation, and teamwork, with the involvement of specialized mentors. The residency also included visits and support initiatives from the Minister of Culture of Côte d'Ivoire and the Swiss Embassy, along with efforts to strengthen cooperation among participating countries to expand the network of African cultural and creative projects. These long-term programs seek to create launching points for sustainable creative projects across the African continent by connecting youth with institutions and professional networks.
