Jou Tunisia hosts Mohamed Al Kurd

The Tunis 2026 Contemporary Art Biennial organized a intellectual dialogue titled "The Structure of Evidence," featuring Palestinian poet and writer Mohammed Al-Kurd. This event was part of the "Jou’ Meetings" program, which aims to discuss the authority of images, the importance of evidence in shaping truth, and the global transformations and crises of political and intellectual systems. Al-Kurd was also hosted at the University of Manouba to present his book "The Perfect Victims," which critiques stereotypical images of Palestinians as victims and raises questions about the conditions of empathy and recognition of human rights. He was awarded the Palestine Book Prize for 2025.
