Al-Tas to rule on 'Kan' title in 2025

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) announced that its final decision regarding the 2025 CAN title dispute will be issued at the end of November 2026. This comes after the Senegalese Football Federation's appeal against the decision by the African Confederation to award the title to Morocco. Senegal had originally won the title on the field, but CAF awarded the title to Morocco following the appeal, claiming that the Senegal team temporarily withdrew in protest over a penalty kick. The court will reach its decision after hearing the arguments of both sides and conducting its final deliberations.
