Lzli Tramonatini, a German scholar and writer, was raised in a multicultural environment and became acquainted with Arabic literature during her studies in Germany, especially through learning the Arabic language and exploring the poetry of Badr Shaker El Saiaab while studying in Kuwait. She visited Iraq for the first time in 1987 through a scholarship, was captivated by the ruins and the people, and developed deep connections with Iraqi society.
