China unveils five-year rural cooperative plan

China has unveiled a five-year plan to develop a cooperative supply and marketing system aimed at enhancing agricultural services and achieving food security from 2026 to 2030. The plan includes constructing or renovating over 100 strategic fertilizer warehouses and 1,000 distribution centers across provinces in major grain-producing regions by 2030. An initial plan also targets the construction or renovation of 20 warehouses and 200 agricultural service centers this year.
