China limits US drone dual-use exports

China has decided to tighten controls on the export of dual-use materials related to drones to the United States, in order to protect national security and national interests and to prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Starting from August 5th, these exports will be subject to strict review and the prohibition of benefiting from licensing facilitation measures, especially concerning drones, their components, and technologies, in accordance with a decision by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.
